| Abstract | ECRI firmly condemns terrorism as an extreme form of intolerance and stresses that it is incompatible with and threatens the values of freedom, democracy, justice, the rule of law and human rights. It considers that it is the duty of the state to fight against terrorism and stresses that the fight against terrorism should not become a pretext under which racism, racial discrimination and intolerance are allowed to flourish. This document therefore, makes specific recommendations to the governments of member States regarding the fight against racism and terrorism. | |
