Specialized institutions

This section gives access to a list of specialized institutions, national as well as international, working on tolerance and non-discrimination issues.

A specialized institution is here defined as "a permanent structure focussing on issues such as human rights, racism and discrimination, and operating independently from the Government (however it might be structurally linked to a state's Ministry). Funding is normally provided by the state. There must be a legal basis, in the form of regulation or legislation, for the mandate or scope of this institution."

This section also provides access to tools and guides as well as reports issued by these institutions.
