AbstractThe handbook full of ideas on how to respond to some articles or story in the media. It can assist in playing an active part in interaction with media. The issue for Muslims, especially women is how to react to the barrage of negative images and stereotyping. It teaches how to respond, for the ill prepared or defensive reaction will not counter the negativity nor provide a positive perspective of Islam and women. It provides current contact information, samples of features and letters to the editor.
